New Years Eve, we had a odd 60°F day that came in and caused a tornado. If you live here, it would be impossible to have missed the constant news coverage. Although it is pretty sad the damage it caused in the South West side of the city.

Never the less, we couldn't let that warm bizarre day slip by with out driving out to the forest and hiking around. Everything looked really strange and the water was incredibly green. Also found a large mutated fish, who's photo will be added to this blog at a later date.

Coachella was the best experience I've ever had. There's just something special about being in the middle of the desert for a giant celebration of creativity and music. Having a great time with your good friends, smack dab in the state I always said I would move to. Enjoying music from noon to 2am as the cool desert wind blows through the crowd felt like a dream.

I loved it. I needed it. Surrounded my beautiful mountains, dry desert air, and a lot of lizards.
