I recently caught the most uniquely entertaining piece of adventure storytelling that I've ever seen. 3 awesomely weirdly brave Belgium/Irishmen, 1 American, and 1 English old timer sailing through remote parts of Greenland while drinking, climbing, and making swashbuckling music. Watching this was like the first time I saw CKY2K and said "Damn. That's not your average skate movie." You don't have to like climbing or sailing through icebergs to enjoy this part of the latest Reel Rock series. You will laugh though. 

Really digging this project by Stephen Hilyard. Inspiring to say the least.  “Rapture of the Deep" consists of large prints of digitally manipulated landscape images. The series deals with the glamour of risk as personified by eight famous British mountaineers from the 70s and 80s, a golden age of high altitude mountaineering which made many of them national media figures. When I was growing up these men were my heroes and they all died in the mountains. Each piece in the series is named for one of them, along with the location of his death. These images were created from photographs I made of underwater landscapes at Silfra, a unique location in Iceland.” Found Via Adrifts
