If you have a chance to catch this story on CNBC, it is worth a watch. It's the story of J. Crew's CEO and how he transformed their retail space and overall image that drove their revenue up 170%. This man is also responsible for all of Apple retail stores "coolness," as he was hired by Steve Jobs in 1999.
