Much like last summer I wasn't very active on my blog due to fun summertime distractions. And in the spirit of last year, I'm going to do a recap of what it may have been like had I blogged in the Summer of 2015.

If I had blogged in the summer of 2015, I would have written about how we almost killed our dogs by taking them to Deep Creek. I'm quite relieved that they didn't die, because as you know, our entire lives seem to revolve around these fat little creatures.
I also would have mentioned the fact that our dogs + hight altitude + direct sunlight = disaster.

I would have also mentioned that since we live in California we all tend to forget what fresh water looks and feels like.

If I had blogged in the summer of 2015, I would have written of our weekend at Pappy and Harriets with our good friends Lord Huron.

I would have written about how I managed to get my wife to ride with me for her annual once per year trip around dangerous Los Angeles.

I probably would have noted that I spent way less time on two wheels this year, but that's just a shame, so maybe I wouldn't have.

If I had blogged in the summer of 2015, I would have written about our last minute trip to Iowa and how much we enjoyed being there. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, that it will be getting it's own blog post whenever I can get around to it.

If I had blogged the summer of 2015, I would have written about chasing trickling waterfalls and giving puggybacks to fat dogs.

If I had blogged the summer of 2015, I would have written about snorkeling in Laguna for the first time and realizing there actually is crystal clear ocean water in California.

If I had blogged about the summer of 2015, I would have also written of our appreciation for the San Gabriel mountain. I would have expressed my sadness after having seen portions that were wiped out by the man-made fires.

I probably would have documented the time spent rescuing horny tarantulas from getting crushed by cars. Mating season brought out some very lonely bachelors out that evening.

Finally, if I had blogged about the summer of 2015, I would have shared our Pacific North West adventures. Fortunately that happens this week, so maybe, just maybe I will create another blog post before the end of August.
